Affiliate Disclosure
March 2026
Plain English Summary

Some product links on Akmata are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of these links, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never influences which products our AI recommends.

1. How It Works

Akmata participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click a product link and make a purchase on a third-party retailer's site, we may receive a commission from that retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.

2. What This Means for You

  • You pay the same price — affiliate commissions are paid by retailers, not by you
  • Our AI recommendations are generated purely based on your skin profile — not on commission rates
  • Akmata does not accept payment from brands to feature or promote their products
  • We are a neutral multi-brand recommender — no brand pays to appear in your routine

3. Current Affiliate Programmes

Akmata may participate in programmes including Amazon Associates and other cosmetics retail affiliate networks. Affiliate relationships may change over time as the platform grows.

4. Why We Use Affiliate Links

Affiliate commissions allow us to keep Akmata's core skin analysis and routine generation free to use. They are how we sustain the platform without charging users upfront for every analysis.
